I build systems that make real-world operations work better. Most of the job involves taking messy, manual workflows and turning them into software that people can actually rely on and use day to day.

I’m a Rubyist at heart. I care about pragmatic engineering, shipping quickly and building software that holds up in production.

I’ve spent most of my career in startups, usually working with the underdogs. A short detour into food and beverage also showed me how SMEs really operate and how poorly much of today’s technology serves them.

That’s what I’m focused on now: helping SMEs use AI not as another tool bolted onto the business, but as part of how the business itself works.
